COVID-19 is considered the most significant global health challenge since the influenza pandemic in 1918. Since its outbreak in December 2019, scholars and practitioners have rapidly designed and developed digital-driven solutions to meet the needs of individuals and communities.
As we face a new era, that of the so-called post-COVID, it is necessary to look at key ideas of digital innovation and how it can help by adding a new edition of values to society through technology-driven evolution and designs. This seminar addresses current issues about these phenomena to rethink the design for care topics, including digital healthcare.
1918년 인플루엔자 팬데믹 이후 코로나-19 감염병은 가장 중요한 글로벌 헬스에 대한 도전으로 고려된다. 2019년 12월 발생한 이래 학자들과 실무자들은 개인과 지역사회의 니즈를 만족시키기 위해서 디지털기반의 해결안들을 신속히 디자인하고 개발해 오고 있다. 현재 우리가 ‘포스트코로나’라고 명명하는 새로운 시대를 맞이함에 따라 디지털 혁신의 핵심아이디어와 그것이 어떻게 기술중심 디자인을 촉매제로 하여 사회에 새로운 가치를 부여하는지 살펴봐야할 필요가 있다. 이번 세미나 기획의 목적은 그러한 현상을 인지하고 디지털헬스케어를 포함한 ‘케어를 위한 디자인’ 에 관한 주제를 재사고하기 위한 것이다.
